Junior Achievement’s proven lessons in financial literacy, work, and career readiness, and entrepreneurship are shown to positively impact the lives of young people. These lessons align with national and state educational standards and are delivered to millions of students across the country with the help of our education partners and volunteers from the local community. Research shows that JA Alumni are more likely to have a college degree, feel confident managing money, have career success, and have started a business as an adult.
JA Ourselves®
JA Ourselves introduces students to the intersection of financial literacy and early elementary grades social studies learning objectives.
JA Ourselves is recommended for kindergarten students.
JA Our City®
JA Our City featuring Cha-Ching introduces students to financial literacy and learning objectives for third–grade social studies, including how people manage their money and the importance of economic exchange within a city. (Grade 3)
JA More Than Money®
JA More than Money introduces students to financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and to social studies learning objectives that include money-management skills, goods and services, and global markets. Students will learn a practical approach to starting a business and making smart decisions about managing money. (Grades 3-5)
JA Economics for Success® Blended
JA Economics for Success Blended introduces students to initial work and career readiness and personal finance concepts. The program offers 6 or more or more instructional contact hours (ICH) based on modular delivery of at least 6 of the 10 sessions. (Grades 6-8)
JA Finance Park® (Entry Level)
JA Finance Park is Junior Achievement’s capstone program for personal financial planning and career exploration. At the culmination of this teacher-led program, students visit JA Finance Park, a realistic on-site or virtual community, to put into practice what they've learned by developing and committing to a personal budget. (Grades 7-9)
JA Finance Park® Virtual
JA Finance Park Virtual includes a virtual culminating experience for students who have completed the educator-led curriculum. Students put into practice what they've learned by developing and committing to a personal budget. The JA Finance Park Virtual simulation has been fully redeveloped, with a brand-new experience that offers two implementation options: entry level for middle school students and advanced for high school students. (Grades 7-12)
JA Global Marketplace®
JA Global Marketplace Blended Model introduces students to the global marketplace and the ways in which countries buy and sell from each other. Through the completion of this program, students will gain an understanding of producers and consumers in the interconnected global market. (Grades 6-8)
JA Tools for Success™
JA Tools for Success is recommended for middle school students. The five self-guided modules can be integrated during or after the implementation of other JA learning experiences or used independently. (Grades6-8)
JA All About Cars™
JA All About Cars introduces students to the essential costs related to buying and operating a first car, and offers tips on being a smart consumer when purchasing a vehicle. (Grades 9-12)
JA Economics®
JA Economics is a one-semester course that connects high school students to the economic principles that influence their daily lives as well as their futures. (Grades 11-12)
JA Finance Park® Advanced
JA Finance Park is Junior Achievement’s capstone curriculum for personal financial planning and career exploration. An advanced curriculum and simulation give high school students a more personal focus. Students select their careers and define their future lifestyle and financial goals. (Grades 9-12)
JA Financial Capability® 1
JA Financial Capability 1 is a one-semester teacher-led course in which high school students examine financial capabilities from a business perspective, focusing on banking, economics, business planning, and risk management. (Grades 9-12)
JA Financial Capability® 2
JA Financial Capability 2 is a one-semester teacher-led course in which high school students examine financial capabilities from a business perspective, focusing on employee benefits, ethics, business investment, and international business operations. (Grades 9-12)
JA Financial Literacy®
JA Financial Literacy is a one-semester teacher-led course that equips high school students with foundational personal finance skills.(Grades 9-12) This course has received California A-G approval from High School Articulation, Office of Undergraduate Admissions, University of California.
JA Personal Finance® 2.0
JA Personal Finance allows students to experience the interrelationship between today’s financial decisions and future financial freedom. To achieve financial health and wellness, they learn about money-management strategies, including earning, employment and income, budgeting, savings, credit and debt, consumer protection, smart shopping, risk management, investing, credit card usage, debt management, and net worth. (Grades 9-12)
JA Take Stock in Your Future®
Through JA Take Stock in Your Future, students discover the benefits and challenges of investing in the stock market as part of a broader, long-term investment strategy and the risks and rewards of trading. (grades 9-12)
JA Titan® Blended
JA Titan Blended is a simulation-based program in which high school students compete as business CEOs in the phone industry, experiencing firsthand how an organization evaluates alternatives, makes decisions, analyzes the outcomes of those decisions, and then strategizes what to do next. (Grades 9-12)
