To accomplish these goals, we employ the Developmental Relationship Framework, harnessing the power of the game of chess as a vehicle to deliver essential Developmental Assets.
Mentor2Youth Approach
The Raising Royalty Framework is an impactful and transformative experience that uses Chess as its foundation. The main goal of this program is to unlock the full potential of each participant, helping them discover their purpose and providing them with crucial skills and mindset to become outstanding leaders who create positive change in the world. The program utilizes the Chess pieces to represent important leadership principles: Purpose (King), Values (Queen), Stewardship (Bishop), Wisdom (Knight), Community (Rook), and Discipline (Pawns). We call these the six moves of Royalty.
This mentoring program goes beyond just academic achievements, offering a holistic experience for individuals. Raising Royalty helps students build disciplined habits of purpose in areas of finance, civics, academics, and emotional intelligence. By using Chess as a framework, it fosters strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and character development. The unique approach of aligning each Chess piece with essential leadership principles helps guide participants on their journey to becoming purpose-driven leaders who have a meaningful impact on society.
