Although there is a wide range of barriers to family and parent engagement, research tells us that kids do better when families are engaged and connected.

Across the board, schools, as well as youth and family serving organizations struggle to engage and partner with families. Now– more than ever–schools and programs need to work closely with parents as learning partners…and family engagement is critical to young people’s success.
