Giving through us, not to us!

No Money, Means No Mission!

We are bridging the opportunity gaps with Youth Empowerment, Family Involvement, and Community Collaboration! We’re putting the Neighbor back in the Hood!

Mentor2Youth provides various options for our Supporters, who can contribute in different ways. Some Supporters choose to make a single, one-time donation, while others prefer to set up a recurring donation.

Let us show you how your support makes a meaningful impact!

THE DECK SUPPORTER

The deck of a bridge is the platform where cars and people move back and forth— without the deck people can’t use the bridge. Like their namesake, our Deck Supporters are the most valuable of our supporters. They’re also our most common. We ask everyone to become a Deck Supporter.

Deck Gifts form the foundation of the Youth Council and Parental Involvement Initiative. We want our bridge to have two decks: Student Empowerment and Parental Involvement. Students who have a voice in their education investment in their education, and their academic support begins with their parents. Become a Deck Supporter with an annual contribution of only $10.

THE SUSPENDER SUPPORTER

A bridge’s vertical suspenders connect the deck to its suspension cables. The vertical suspenders begin the process of strengthening the bridge by spreading the deck load to the bridge’s support system. Our Suspender Supporter do the same. It takes a village, and their donations help connect students to community resources. These charitable donations go directly into our fund that provides transportation, school supplies and field trip support. Suspender Supporters provide the financial foundation for our after-school programs and help get children into the community for hands-on and experiential learning.

Become a Suspender Supporter with an annual contribution of only $25.

SUSPENSION CABLE SUPPORTER

Suspension cables provide most of the load-bearing support and shape the deck. They connect the deck to the towers and stabilize the bridge so traffic can safely cross. Like their namesake, our Suspension Cable Supporters bear the majority of the load to support our programs. These donations form the cornerstone of our funding. They are the single most important contribution level to keep our program running. Our Suspension Cable Supporters also form most of our Civil Engineers and help us cultivate donor relations.

Become a Suspension Cable Supporter with an annual contribution of $135.

THE TOWER SUPPORTER

Bridge towers connect the deck to the foundation. They are the pillars in a bridge, and our Tower Supporters are the pillars of our outreach efforts. Without these pillars, the deck would become unstable and incapable of bearing traffic. Our most visible contribution level, Tower Supporters help us achieve programmatic goals. We use these funds to develop innovative programs and finance strategic support.

Become a Tower Supporter with an annual contribution of $500 or more.

THE ANCHORAGE SUPPORTER

A bridge’s anchorage is on either side of the bridge and helps provide the stability necessary for the bridge to function safely. Our Anchorage Supporters do the same. Their contributions stabilize our program and allow us to weather fluctuations in the economy and work outside of the constraints of emergency, reactive thinking.

Anchorage Supporter Contributions provide the backbone of our operational and strategic funding. These donations allow us to employee educational and leadership professionals and continue to expand our offerings.

Become an Anchorage Supporter with an annual contribution of $3000-$5000.

We’re a 501(3)(c) non-profit and select our volunteers from amongst local high school and college students.
