Diversity Statement.
The mission of Mentor2Youth is to ensure disadvantaged youth have a promising future by educating and empowering them to excel in life, academics and work. We understand the importance of an education but believe this must be supplemented with life-long learning skills to truly impact youth. We are tireless in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of our youth. We maintain that achieving diversity requires an enduring commitment to inclusion that must find full expression in our organizational culture, values, norms, and behaviors. Throughout our work, we will support diversity in all of its forms, encompassing but not limited to age, disability status, economic circumstance, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, and sexual orientation.

The staff of Mentor2Youth reflects the communities of Washtenaw County.
Staffing at every level of the organization should reflect the diversity of the Southeastern Region. Mentor2Youth anticipates that its demonstrated commitment represents an organizational standard for the nonprofit sector.
Youth Participants
The youth participating in programs provided by Mentor2Youth reflects the local communities of Washtenaw County. We promote cultural diversity and do not believe in discriminating against any youth applicants based on race, creed, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or gender.
