Administrative Assistant to CFO - Intern
Job Purpose:
Will provide a variety of support functions to the CFO. This position is clerical, administrative, and support-based. Will include client communications, scheduling, reviewing invoicing, preparing reports, and coordinating various departments.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Communicating with clients and outside vendors.
Work closely with the CFO coordinating invoicing, and AR functions.
Prepare internal reports as required by the executive staff.
Assisting the CFO with calendar management
Working closely with the CFO and other department leads on special projects
Skills/Qualifications:
Computer and software skills: Proficiency with QuickBooks would be a plus. You will need to familiarize yourself with Salesforce. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Powerpoint. You should be comfortable using Google Suite, email, and the internet.
Multitasking skills: You should be able to juggle several demands at once.
Strong communication skills: Both written and verbal. These are essential. You should have a solid command of the English language and possess good proofreading skills.
Interpersonal skills: You'll be working with others, including clients and other office personnel. Good manners and a calm demeanor can be very important.
Organizational skills: You must be detail-oriented and organized, able to locate a document or recall protocol at a moment's notice.
Decision-making skills: You'll often find yourself handling several tasks almost simultaneously, so you should be able to prioritize and make time-effective decisions. A client might want an appointment right away, but does he really have an emergency or can it wait a few days?
Education: Associates degree in business or accounting, with accounting software experience.
Licenses and Other Requirements: DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, Negative TB test within the last four years
